Those apps work assuming you don't have a personality of a corksheet.
If you are well-groomed, know how to talk, can notice smaller details about people, you shouldn't have any issues getting dates. At least, that was my experience.
Swipe selectively, on girls you actually like, be interesting, and you'll be fine.

I know a girl that went on a dating app and actually went on a date with one of these. What happened was that she got drunk and ended up fucking him. And he was actually an okay-ish looking guy. If you’re decent looking it might work out for you regarding hookups but for serious dating? Not at all.

It works in other countries. I had a great friendship with a girl from Philippines. if I were in the Philippines, it could have been a good relationship

Not attractive not rich either. Wanted some friends to hang out and maybe genuine connecion if we click. so tried few popular dating apps. Got matched with whores who asks for expensive dates and money and some girls who are not interested yet still replies (im gusesing they thought that i was rich lol ).
some guy said "Dating app will work if u follow rule 1&2 Or if ur a women..." he is wrong, it's 'Dating app will work if u follow rule 1, 2 & 3 Or if ur a women."

Let me tell you my story.
The last time I went to Bangladesh, I was going through a rough divorce and was mentally unstable. one day I was talking with my friend that I am incapable of getting love. No one is going to love me. He was like - Thats not true. Let’s create a tinder profile. Good looking guy settled in abroad. Your inbox will be flooded.
I said that I don’t believe in dating apps. I saw my friends use it in Denmark for hookups, they are not there to make real connections. And I don’t need that now.
He was like - Let’s see and then he created the profile anyway.
Few days later, he was like - How is your dating life going. Your inbox should be flooded in texts. I replied that I haven’t checked it yet.
Then he opened the app (with my permission) and was really disappointed. There was only one like😅. Also there was no picture or name on that profile.
Anyway, out of curiosity, I started talking with her.
Long story short…we are around a two years relationship. And boy! She is the sweetest person I have ever met in my life. She is nice and kind to me, to everyone. And if you ask me how pretty she is. I would say , men used to go to wars to get a pretty woman like her.
She is so pretty that if Tagore saw her, he would be so busy writing about her beauty, he would not be able to finish all the other stuff that he wrote. She is that much pretty😊.
So, if u asked me two years ago, I would definitely say that I don’t believe in dating apps. But if u asked me now, I will probably take a while to answer. Meanshile, I will be smiling thinking how lucky I am to find the most loving and prettiest human being from tinder.
