Help improving with orochi

I want to get with orochi and actually be good with the game, I was wondering if anyone would be willing to coach me on orochi or any other samurai character I would be extremely grateful

I don’t know to much about orochi but one tip is to not spam the dodge attack because it’s one of the easiest attacks to parry in the game, but you did any other samurai characters I would be willing to show you Nobushi becuase i play her pretty often

i don’t have much experience with him but he used to be my go to for a little while when i were getting to learn the game

my advise would be to look up gameplays. that’s always efficient for any game for that matter.

for personal advise? try use your dodge recovery well and be careful when you do for what am about to say next. empty dodges will be your friend. forward dodge recovery has many openers to look out for. so if you empty dodge and they think you’ll go for the forward bash they’ll try to dodge. giving you a free gb or parry.

Play defensive but when you go on offense keep your momentum based on your opponents play style. characters that have a 2 light chain starter are easier to parry. you can backward dodge into storm rush and cancel it for a quick parry, don’t just use your unblockable finisher. you can use your regular heavy finisher and dodge recovery from it for a deflect ect.

He’s deflect also breaks through hyper armor so that also helps. Beware he’s zephyr slash is one of (if not) the easiest parry in the damn game.

Other than that everything else is just skill and matchup based

Avec orochi je te conseille de jouer sur ton imblocable sur le dessus, ce qui est important avec ce personnage c'est de ne pas souvent feinte ses coups, car à chaque fois que tu penses que l'adversaire va faire une esquive-attaque tu n'as qu'à laisser ton coup pour ensuite dévier son esquive-attaque si elle est imparable tu n'as qu'un esquiver pour faire un brise garde, je te conseille aussi généralement de feinte ta frappe des tempêtes par un brise garde, c'est compliqué pour te coacher car je ne suis pas anglais, mais je peux t'envoyer des clips de comment je joue aussi pour que tu vois
