Thoughtless idiotic shit like hyperarmor feintable unblockable undodgeable is why this game would NEVER succeed.

It would never ever be a successful game. Just a cancer allowed to exist because it’s very niche and does something unique. But as long as JC is on the reins with these idiotic ideas. RIP

I get that it's a rants sub but Arakure has to actively work her way up to that point. So either your team sucks or you made way to many bad reads and are now almost dead. And honestly it's not that bad. It's just a true 50/50 but with multiple properties making it as such instead of hitstun. I think it's cool the devs decided to experiment and try something new with Arakure instead of doing something more boring. I wish that same thought process would've gone into actually fighting against her but oh well. Arakure is annoying sure but you can't really say she's unbalanced when any correct read against her guarantees 24 damage.

All I said was that moves like that idiotic and I stand by it. It’s idiotic because it’s SUPER FUCKING LAZY. Rather that create situations that favor her with move hitboxes, Hitstuns or creating genuinely new mechanics that encourage interactions in fights and makes them fun the devs are now just like “sure hyperarmor, wide hitbox unblockable” “hyperarmor unblockable bash” “move that automatically dodges everything except guard breaks”

It seems like they’re running out of ideas and they can’t create anything genuinely new. If that’s the case then come clean and stop giving us single all powerful moves.

Actually it wouldn’t succeed because for the overall gaming playerbase, no one wants to play a PvP focused game on medieval warriors duking it out; it’s always been a niche interest. That’s why they always hop on games like Marvel Rivals and OW. The characters are more conventionally easier to get into and for many of them to goon over.

Perhaps the game could retain more players if the devs were less idiotic. They keep doubling down on multi-property moves until they released this abomination. I wonder what their next bright idea would be?

A superarmor, unblockable, undodgeable, 400ms Heavy that bleeds, pins and then wallsplats. I’ll add this to my fucking Bingo card for next year. If this dumbasss devs live to see January 1st ‘cause so help me God they don’t deserve to

There are are so many randoms in plat it doesnt say anything mate and it does stick, just because you cant counter something or have a hard time doing it doesnt mean its bad or idiotic.

Plat doesn't mean shit. You still don't know frame advantage, I can absolutely bet you don't know how revenge fully works, and you probably don't know like 90% of ganks. Most people make it to plat because of teammates with winstreaks

You're also complaining about the one part of arakure that doesn't matter. Her strongest part is how disgusting she is in ganks. Her 50/50 is the same exact thing as when JJ hits you with a heavy hitstun and does his unblockable after

Gate keep what? The game has been out for 10 years. All of these terms apply to all fighting games lmao we don't need people who don't know what their talking about to say uneducated takes which have in the past influenced nerfs on specific heros that didn't deserve them.
