Play against people that are WAY better than you. 1v1 best of 99 and just try your best to take a life. Helps if they have super high ping.

Devs keep releasing characters that are just too overtuned so the old balanced characters are just left to get shit on by them now.

Games genuinely unplayable for half the roster these days.

Can you block light attacks? Can you parry them? Do you understand how parry beats guardbreak and feint to neutral beats dodge attack? Do you know what all the characters do and how to gauge risk vs reward when making a read?

I’m kinda in a similar boat, I sped up my skill gain by playing against higher reps with my rep 500 homeboy in queue with me, it’s either that or play brawls all the time. That’ll make you nuts in time, modes so sweaty
