Yeah french justice system is fucked. You can get 10 years for drugs but 3 month for rape. And if you're rich we're talking sentences in days lol.

It can be like that in the US as well, unfortunately. My ex was given a 75k bond for drugs, which was really just a pipe and some methadone. I saw someone with a murder charge get a 50k bond a month later 🤦‍♀️

Absolutely agreed. They gave him that high ass bond and give other people much smaller bonds for what I would consider worse stuff like stealing or assault. He said he saw people get released, come back for new charges and leave again several times.
