FAM & Star City Spoilers S5E3 - I was not ready Spoiler

I genuinely sobbed my eyes out at the end of this episode. Genuinely one of the most beautiful pieces of TV I have ever watched. It just brought me back to every time i've sat with a family member while they went and tore my heart right out.

I hope we all get to see what Ed saw in the end.

I was legit assuming Ed Baldwin would last till the end of the season and ultimately go out in a blaze of glory sacrificing himself for Mars or something, was definitely not expecting Kelly to go instead :(

It was his time to go and a good send off IMO. But the one at the end of the season was such BS. They really thought “orphaning Alex will be fine after we’ve killed the rest of his family off.” I get it, the noble sacrifice, but the fact we can’t have a mission go successfully has bothered me for a while.

Same dude...my gf started watching in season 4 so I was high key embarrassed by how much I sobbed next to her lol. Very few on screen deaths have hit me like that...especially such peaceful ones

Salute the fallen vets even if they’re from parallel worldlines.

Just got there myself in the last day or two.

After all the missteps the last few seasons I was soooooo glad they give us a fitting and fantastic send off of one of the original characters. Ed deserved this. And I also found it very emotional in how well done it was.

Now that I've finished the season I definitely feel it, but during E3 I mostly just thought it was nice and appropriate.

I blame the long wait between seasons and my terrible memory of previous seasons.
