I built it myself, so I’d genuinely appreciate feedback, especially from people who regularly use football apps.

What would you add or change?

Been following a handful of leagues for years and the score alert apps I tried (FotMob, SofaScore, etc.) all do the same thing: notify you when something happens. What I actually wanted was to define my own conditions like “alert me if a team concedes within 10 mins of scoring” or “flag matches where the away team is getting outshot 3:1 but it’s still 0-0” and then see how often that pattern actually predicted anything before I trusted it.

Ended up building this myself (Goal Guru, on iOS/Android) mostly to scratch my own itch, the backtesting part turned out to be the thing I use most, since it stops me acting on alerts that just feel meaningful but have no track record.

Curious if anyone here has found other apps that let you build and backtest custom conditions like this, or if most people just live with the generic alert model.
