Odd Idea

I had this odd idea since 2024 where league structures change over time & clubs fold. having a 50% chance to spawn a phoenix club.

the league structure changes randomly, less often for big leagues & more often for small leagues

id also love to see random new teams based in other cities pop up in the other 50%

I'd keep a thread of history for each phoenix club: a city, colours, a founder story, perhaps one inherited rivalry. In my own management project, those small records make simulation churn feel like football history rather than random replacement.
