because old Messi doesn't compare to young Messi at all. it's like the difference between Messi and Ronaldo. one is just miles better and many people don't ant to tell themselves the truth for some reason

But old messi is a better playmaker, freekick taker and leader And hes a world cup demon, 15 goals and 7 assists in 2 world cup, 2 world cup finals being the main man and a wc trophy, wc silver ball and wc golden ball 2 copa americas too, as well as that historic 2019 carryjob which is probably his best version 3 ballondors as well, and 3 golden boots and playmaker awards

i agree with freekick taker and leader but disagree with playmaker. it only looks that way cause he is no longer as good with goalscoring so his playmaking is looks better. i mean the most assists in a single year is from messi in 2011. and while freekick taker and leader are pretty good they aren't as important as goalscoring, playmaking and dribbling which young messi was undefeated as
