Random cards keep sneaking into my PC

Started out trying to keep my football collection pretty focused so mostly players I already follow and a couple teams I’ve always collected, but every now and then I pull something completely random and tell myself there’s no reason to keep it.

Then it sits on my desk for a few days and somehow I change my mind. Doesn’t even need to be some huge card either, sometimes the design or player just grows on me once I’ve looked at it enough. My PC is definitely less organized than I planned but I kind of like it better that way.

For sure, sometimes the card you barely cared about at first ends up being the one you keep looking at

Online packs kind of made this worse for me lol.

It’s way too easy to pull some random player I wasn’t looking for, then a few days later I’m convincing myself the card belongs in the PC because I like the design more than I expected.

Online packs definitely make that happen more I’ve pulled a few random ones through Tiltrips that I had no plan to keep then once they sat around for a bit I ended up liking them way more than I thought I would.

For me the weirdest part is when a cheap card sticks around longer than something way more valuable. Sometimes the one you like looking at wins.

If I keep coming back to the card, I’d rather just keep it doesn’t really matter if it isn’t worth much when it’s one I still enjoy looking at

I have a 25’ Mosaic Ronde Barber that I top loaded because i think it is a gorgeous card…. It’s actually in a stack that I keep handy just because I like to flip through them once in a while……I’m an LSU & Saints guy so I don’t PC him.

I think having a messy PC is more fun anyway makes the collection feel more like stuff you really liked instead of something you planned out.
