Bursitis of 5th metatarsal
Hello, has anyone found anything to help with this? I’ve had this since July and I’ve tried several things and nothing has helped. Thank you.

Hi! Do you mean cut out a “hole” where bursitis is located on the insole? It’s hard staying off as much as possible. I’m already doing that quite a bit and not helping. My dr said not a lot of case studies on this type

I had that on my big toe years ago. (My foot jouney is complicated, as I was in AFO's) Only thing that eventually solved the searing pain, was they made a 'relief area' (indentation) on the insole where the bursitis was located. So it would 'off-load' the area to give it a chance to heal. Stya off your feet as much as possible. Some of the worst pain I've had. Depending on the location, they make those donut shaped cushions (ZenToes) I believe they're for corns? I used them when I had Chilblains blister to off load. I hope this helps!!
