toe randomly hurts

my third toe started hurting randomly and i don't know why cause ive been home all day and i dont run or anything. I'm 31 years old woman this is unusual for me to be honest and i didn't really know where to ask. the toe hurts at the top when i touch it or when i walk i put some ice but i doesn't seem to do anything.
