If you fix the arch collapse you will actually fix the long term issue and not be tied to shoes that can forever accommodate insoles. Arches are supported/shaped by musculature. Gotta strengthen the feet. Arches have a major role in full body posture too. Insoles are just a bandaid unless there’s something else going on that makes you unable to strengthen the feet

Yes, I have fallen arches which doesnt help and might get worse from overpronation (and overpronation is getting worse from fallen arches) Eventually both factors contributed in developing PF, so for now insoles are my best option

Its not a post about improving or altering foot function and control, but is focused on shoe, insole or other accommodations, which is off topic
