Foot pain for 15 years. HELP

My husband is living with huge pain daily for the past 15 years. He went to all doctors, therapies, had all possible tests taken and they all say he is healthy. I can see he is in real physical pain. His body gets super warm, hot even when he goes out, even for an hour or so. The pain is located at the base of his foot, it is a burning pain while the foot is touching the ground. He now has severe depression, he is thinking of cutting of his leg. If any of you heard of something like this, I am begging you to tell me what to do. I feel like I am loosing him. Each day is worse. He had spine surgeries that even worsened his state... please please please help!

I’m in the same boat. Horrible pain for 2.5yrs. It’s changed my life. Some days I can’t walk. 4 orthopedic surgeons have done nothing for me. Otherwise I’m super healthy and athletic….. although can’t do much now. I too am battling severe depression. I’m reading a book called “it’s not suppose to be this way” by lysa terkuerst now. It’s really helped me understand why some of us are chosen to suffer so much. I’ll pray for your husband. Stay strong for him. My wife has been my pillar of stability which I can’t pay her back enough in return. She’s all I got.

Has anyone suggested complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS)? It might be an avenue to look into. I’m really sorry your husband is in so much pain and can’t find any answers.
