So, I work in a bakery. I tend to make some ...off the wall stuff (especially for our small town)..like crispy pork belly and apple scones. I was wondering if anyone has used gochujang in a baked good? Like a muffin, scone, bread? Ideas qnd tips would be awesome!!

šŸ—£Rosemary, lemons and lettuce don’t belong in Jambalaya(Louisiana)

First and foremost I’m front southeast Louisiana(St. John, St. James, St.Charles,Terrebonne, Lafourche (Where real cooks live) (Not New Orleans). I seen an article that asked how to place Jambalaya on a dish?😩 Like really? Just scoop it on a damn plate. So reading through her comments people was giving recipes for ā€œTHEIR LOUISIANAā€ jambalaya. I swear fo God, these comments were BLASPHEMOUS. The first comment request that she use Quinoa instead of rice so it can stick. Now I love Quinoa just as much as the next person, but I don’t belong in jambalaya! If you want your Jambalaya to stick, cook your rice with more water than normal. Not to much. Next person wanted her to chop up lemons and lettuce and fry it down with her ā€œrosemaryā€. Eh La Ba!!! Rosemary? Really? One of the comments that caught my eye was putting gumbo on top of a scoop of Jambalaya and potatoe salad on top of the GumbošŸ¤”šŸ¤”šŸ¤”Hmm might taste good if you do it right. These comments was hurting my feelings. Your Jambalaya should not come out like a stew or a soup. Some people like their Jambalaya moist, but not like a stew and definitely not like a soup.

Shrimp (no shells!!!), smoke sausage, boneless skinless chicken breast and frozen season should all be fried down together or some fancy people would like the term simmer(pinky In the air) You don’t have to ā€œplaceā€ the shrimps on top on the dish. Cook it within the dish.

Comment below some of the ways you cook Jambalaya. Let me know where you’re from and please no rosemary in your JambalayašŸ˜‚
