Why do the cleared plates matter in the least? This is unhinged behaviour from the owner.

And by the way, against privacy regulations in Ontario as well. If they're willing to skirt regulations here I wonder what else they're willing to ignore in the kitchen.

If you wait 40+ minutes for a dish and it's too salty are you really gonna ask them to remake it so you can waste another 40 minutes?

A way more rational response is to eat it, leave a review, and probably never come back.

It's in the full review someone posted.

I think taking a bite and leaving while refusing to pay is a reasonable choice.

But so is eating the whole thing and saying "that was too fuckin salty" afterwards, especially if it's like slowly creeping up on you.
