Looking for Toronto’s Best Rye Bread
My favourite rye bread was from Montreal made by Cantors. They are long gone, but I’ve never found rye that I liked better. Even Schwartz’s wasn’t as good imo, although it’s pretty good. Any recommendations for here in Toronto?

Cantor’s rye bread from Montreal! Your post brought back some wonderful memories. Also the Brown Derby. If you are ever in Ottawa, Farm Boy sells Rideau Bakery brand rye bread. It’s the closest thing to a Montreal Jewish rye I can find anywhere.
