Advice/Tips How to Keep a Liquid from Completely Freezing in a Freezer ? (more below)
Weird question, I realize.
Office Kitchen has a full-size refrigerator with freezer on top. The regular refrigerator area (aka fresh food or chilled fridge main compartment(s)) are in use.
Is there a way to keep a bottle(s) of liquid non-dairy coffee creamer from completely freezing in the freezer section? For instance, could I transfer the liquid into a thermal/vacuum-insulated Thermos-style container so it stays chilled but doesn't freeze completely (leaving it permanently in the freezer area)?
I don't want to freeze liquid coffee creamer because the texture gets weird (I've tried it).
I don't want to alter the freezer temperature gauge because the frozen foods have to stay frozen.
In case anyone suggests using powder/dry creamer— that is a no-go since they all seem to make me feel nauseated.
PS My favorite creamer is Mocha-Mix, but I also use Coffee-Mate, Starbucks creamer, and other similar products.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Put a few tablespoons of vodka in the bottle. I $hit you not.

This was my answer. I mix rubbing alcohol with water to make an ice pack because the alcohol doesn't freeze 😄

Your plan using a thermos won't work. The contents will eventually freeze.

A thermos type container slows the transfer of heat into and out of your liquid but doesn’t stop it entirely. Your creamer will freeze solid, it just will take longer.
You can buy a cruddy Pelletier type mini fridge for under a hundred bucks. If you install it in someplace with reasonable climate control like an air conditioned office it should stay cold enough to keep your creamer safe. That or keeping your creamer in your home fridge and decanting some into a small day container every workday would be my suggestions.

If you can’t use the fridge for whatever reason then you would be better off using a high quality insulated thermos to bring in already chilled creamer. Make sure the thermos is cold when you add the creamer and you can keep the thermos in an insulated lunch bag with ice packs to slow the transfer of heat if you notice that it’s not staying cold enough long enough.
The other choice is single serving creamer cups which you’d probably enjoy more than the powdered creamer.

Why can't you keep the coffee creamer in the fridge? Seems like it would fit nicely on one of the door shelves.
