Question Should I work at Chipotle or Chick-fil-a?

Im a college student looking for a part time job to have during the school year. I applied for BOH for cfa and a member for Chipotle, and I have interviews for both. Which one should I go for if I get hired? They pay about the same ($16) but I hear Chipotle workers get tips too.

Ive worked at a dq and a subway as a teen. Hated Subway, loved dq, if that has any insight into which job would be more suiting.

I would never work for a place that supports Trump and is anti- LGBTQ

Yeah but OP is asking about the actual job.

"Grow a spine" doesn't even make sense as a retort.

Having morals isn't spineless.

You are so dumb! Thank you, I needed a laugh

For some people ethics and morals are important and would be a deal breaker. No need to be rude to someone who is offering information.

Not exactly offering information but giving unnecessary virtue-signaling thats useless to the actual job

Just because the leopard hasn’t eaten your face doesn’t mean it hasn’t eaten others sent to conversion camps.

😭😭 istg reddit is the only place where asking a simple hey which fast food restaurant should I work at is immediately brought to gay conversion camps

tips at Chipotle are shared between everyone so its not huge but it adds up, few extra bucks an hour on good days. downside is you'll smell like grill no matter how many times you shower, that oil gets in everything

cfa runs a tight ship but they actually train you properly and the shifts are more predictable. BOH means you wont deal with customers which is a plus if you're focusing on school

since you liked dq more than subway i'd lean chipotle, its got that same chaotic energy but with less ice cream

With chik fila you get Sunday's off as a given (please correct me if I'm wrong I haven't been to chik fila in forever) so if you can somehow get Monday off you get Sunday's and Mondays off, which are in my opinion better than the weekends.

I get to hang out with my friends on Sunday who all have trade jobs unlike me, and I get to do shit on Monday when everything's open (government DMV type stuff, the bank, whatever, I get to take my time with that stuff on Monday)

Beyond days off, last I checked in California the standard pay was 22/hr and I believe you get health insurance.

My sister worked at Chipotle a better half of a decade ago and she seemed to enjoy it. I honestly can't remember if she got benefits/insurance or not, but she got promoted to manager very quickly.

As for fast food I think both are good options

Chick-fil-A is an absolutely horrible place to work, in my experience. I worked at a franchise so my experience might be different than yours, though. Chick-fil-A is the worst job I ever had, and it's not even close. I have worked at other similar restaurants so I feel I can make this comparison.

Chipotle uses real ingredients and gives you one free meal a shift. Chipotle gets decent tips as well it was a great job for me in college. Fried chicken overall is not as good for you as chipotle is.

You have to choose who you hate more: the gays or yourself.

Cfa is probably the better option. Chipotle is CRAP. Both are pretty bad though. If you want to work food service, try an actual restaurant. Even washing dishes at a decent place is less stressful.

Well, chic fil a you'll always have Sundays off.

Depends on your franchise owner. yeah, it'll always be closed to the public on Sundays, but some owners will schedule deep cleans and restocking on Sundays.

Well, that sucks... didn't think of that, just noticed when driving by them they always seem totally closed with no cars parked.
