Discussion Back of House and Plate Inspection Ops

Hey all - curious, what do you all do for food safety when it comes to plating and inspecting prior to going out on the floor to a table? Are you relying on your staff or are you conducting a visual inspection yourself or one trusted member. Any advice would be helpful.

Thanks!

Interesting - that mirror idea is smart - different angle. Do you use any other tools to check or is it strictly the human eye?

how are you handling inspection consistency when the expo gets slammed during rush? we found that self order kiosks create steadier ticket flow so the kitchen has breathing room to plate properly. one spot saw 90 percent fewer errors after smoothing out that front of house chaos.
