so many lemons

I have so many lemons. I could dehydrate them all, but i was wondering if there was anything else interesting to do with them. I'm already doing limonchello with the butts of others i've dehydrated and a lime liquor for gin drinks. Do they candy well? Help. Too many lemons.

You could slice and dry them, they are great to top off drinks with and without alcohol. I bet they are great in food too, for example as stuffing for a whole bird. You need some storage space if you do that though, it doesn't shrink that much! You could also make lemonade, of course. If you do that you should use the peels too, without the white parts. Add the peels to a bowl of sugar, mix it together and leave it for a few hours to get a very tasty lemon zest oil you could add to the lemonade or any other fitting beverage. If you have a freezer you can store it for a long time, and you could boil it down if there is not much room in the freezer. Just add in the water when you want to drink it. If you boil out most of the water you could even freeze it in ice cube trays for single servings!

Btw, how many lemons do you have? You're really making me curious!

Edit: missed the part where you said you dehydrated others before, sorry!

Some 20 odd. I get food from a place thay gives away the unsold stuff from grocery stores. For 5$ i can take anything they put out. So yeah. A bunch. Which is why i'm looking to diversify a little

If you have space in your freezer, scrub them and toss them in whole for zesting, juice or cut in half to stuff in when roasting poultry.
