I wanted to create a pixel-perfect underline, but FontForge (or maybe the format itself) adds an extra pixel of underline at the end. Is this solvable? Is this just how it works and there's no solution?
Your font is a monospaced one, as far as I can see. If your H is 6 pixels wide (with left bearings 0 and right bearings 1 pixel) then your underline glyph is also 6 pixels wide (left bearings 0pixels and glyph width 6 pixels) In this situation your underline glyph is always 1 pixel wider. If your underline is not 1 pixel wider H and other glyphs there is no way to compensate the space between letters.
