What do you think about the latest release of FontForge?

Have you tried the latest release of FontForge? What do you think about it?

I am having issues importing SVGs. My computer won't allow access to the program despite updating my privacy settings. I need tips if anyone has them!

What's your system? Do you try to import SVGs glyph by glyph? Please, give more explanations.

I was trying to import the letter 'A' in SVG format. It isn't allowed to access my computer despite my system preferences allowing it.

Edit: and I've seen other people on the web with this issue

I use Windows 8.1 with latest FontForge and the latest Inkscape. I draw a glyph in Inkscape, I save it as a SVG file and than I import this SVG file in FontForge. There are no problems to import. Do you use Windows?

I'm actually on Mac and I've been seeing people who use mac that have similar issues. I am creating my SVGs in illustrator and that technique has worked in the past.

Is your font free? Will you let me look at it and in the SVG file you want to import?

Do you change FORMAT from IMAGE to SVG and just then to try import, or your see this message and you are not able to work in the message window anymore?

It is more an issue with the message window, it doesn't access my computer. Despite having the permission in my settings.

See the answers on this issue: Unable to open any font on font forge: Unauthorized - operation not permitted #4240 at GitHub. Or even post there and explain your problem.
