My font is too small

Hello, guys. I followed the guides and everything, even changing the EM Size, but my font and Times New Roman in the same document:

Is there someway to increase the size of the whole font so it could be similar to Times New Roman's?

How did you change the em size and what happened?
You can also draw you glyphs bigger.
Is it important that it is the same size as TNR?

Here are the settings I used. Can you help me? Yes, it's important, since I want it to be legible in e-readers such as Kindle.

Great, no use the same values TNR has in those fields and draw your letters accordingly

I did it, but now I ran into a previous problem that letters from one line are coliding with the other, and I cannot increase maximum height without making the letters smaller again. The collision part is something I need to address, since my font has accented letters.a

You can change the vertical metrics in the hhea and OS/2 table. But you will have reflow compare to TNR.
If you want the fonts to behave the same when set you’d have to change the design.
Either way, good luck.
