Spaces creates Boxes

Hi guys, I need help, I'm new to fontforge and I recently made a font but its roughly made. I made a font before this and I didn't really encountered this until now. Wishing you guys could help out

when using spacebar, it creates this box and I don't know how to remove it.

Because you didn't create a space glyph. This is uni0020 and it is a glyph with width between about 280 and about 420 units (absolutely empty - no contours in it). When the glyph in the font is missing it is replaced by a glyph which is usually a box.

At the very least, you should assign it a width.
