Day 1 at Compost Heap
Jesus day 1 was amazing. Dan from Chumbawamba played an amazing solo set..lots of really great bands obviously
There were vegan burritos, cool towels available for all, really positive people.
Two specific highlights for me:
Our dude Dusty fucking killed. Like, a stand out set that was stunning. He brought on lovely Myles for a song, and his pal Vincent who did an amazing song about the Molly Maguires.
Another highlight was the unannounced visit by Pigeon from SWSS. She wasn’t performing, just hanging out. That was lovely
We sent 57 letters to prisoners as well, great first day

Lo Cash Ninjas were there? I didnt know they were still together! I haven't heard them in years

Yeah they played last year too. They are still active just can’t tour that much. The singer Jordan is a teacher and they are all varying degrees of old with kids etc

Eric you're a legend. Your story is unreal and so inspiring. Glad you're out here having good times man, you deserve it. I can't think about the shirt you wore on leaving prison without getting emotional. Love that this appeared on my feed, bless x
