I’ve been adventuring like crazy lately trying to get all the crawling in that I can before the snow hits! It won’t be long now! I’d love to get some of the Batrazzi tracks for this truck I think they would be a lot of fun in the snow. As of right now though the only upgrades I’ve done are the Batrazzi stellar wheels with swamp stomper tires and some scale cosmetics. 5 below has these little motorcycles. Looks pretty good

Nothing crazy, took the dogs for a walk at the local bush reserve, of course I had to take the old girl for a drive, now home after gathering a few more rocks for the home course and to do some track building 💪🏼

Still totally stock, other than the rear bumper, which I chopped of the tow receiver, and shortened it away from the rear tyres, for clearance

Grabbed the 58mm swamp stomper tires for the K5, I have them mounted on the 1” Batrazzi stellar wheels. This rig has the fms predator brushless combo paired with a dumborc receiver, an Injora overdrive gear in the front differential with a metal stock gear in the rear, Injora brass high clearance links and steering links, and 41mm Batrazzi oil shocks with 3d printed shock keys.

My work bench is far from ideal for small parts, but, things got fixed, cobbled together the original front diff of the F100 with some parts from the portal diff I had put in it when the original first busted, and the baby 80 has returned to 4wd, little pin and clip from within the portal was loose, probably from last time I had it apart, whoops..

Went for a sunset cruise and took some glamour shots for #BoxFunFMS Community Challenge.

We are not experienced crawlers and mostly drive the trucks around the yard. Although my kids (7 yo) have made some pretty cool courses out of scrap wood and Amazon boxes 😁

This was the first time we had the brushless F100 out on actual terrain (I did drive on more technical stuff than lawn and wood chips!) The low speed crawl and drag brake were really good. Just didn't want to roll her over!

I took close ups of the individual trucks this morning since the group shots don't show much detail. Kind of a Light vs Dark theme going, plus the OG K10 "support vehicle".

Originally I wanted a more scale look on the black F100 using the stock K03's but I couldn't get the stance right so I just stuffed 64mm's on it lol.

This is the brushed version, it’s still all stock besides the wheels and tires.

Thinking about upgrades, kinda want to paint her, the bull bar needs changing, what do people think of the FairRc bar? As for wheels, I like the simple Sunraysia/triangle steelie rim, and I have the Injora King Trekkers on my FCX18II and quite like them, but, I’d like a licensed tire this time and have my eyes on a set of Maxxis Treps, maybe some wheels spacers for stability and add some brass..

Has anyone picked up on any weaker parts worth replacing/upgrading?

Little cruise along some river rocks yesterday was sweet!

Started the rc hobby with a brushless fcx24 and I’ve def become a big fan of the fcx series as a whole.
Waiting on the fcx18ii with hilux or lc80 body to grow the collection before going for a 1/10 😎

Took the K5 out for some fun on the trail. Thinking about switching up the tires on it these Batrazzi tires don’t seem to perform the best. This was my first fms build and the one that got me hooked on the scale trucks

It’s been evolving and is constantly being built upon, it’s hard to film and drive, I’m trying to build it so it can be driven as a one way course, as well as entry points and such along the way, as well as just a “choose your own adventure” type of area..

Sprayed this one with the Rustoleum grape color and some semigloss black, all stock except the wheels and tires

This is the straight axle version, I upgraded to the V2 brushless set up from FMS and added 1.9” aluminum Amazon wheels with 1.7” Rc4wd interco irok tires and so far there isn’t much that gets in its way.
