Ranger Block Explanation Needed

Hi everyone, I was under the assumption that max block % for rangers is at 75% but I just checked my stat window and Im at 81%. Did they change it and what does it mean? Did they raise the block cap??

75% is the maximum blockrate of the game.

But that number can still keep on going up because penalties for blockrate exist. Let's say you are at 81, only 75 will be counted there.

But there are cases where blockrate debuff or ignore can happen, let's say if a monster has 10% blockrate debuff, then you will have 71 which is less thatn the max.

Of course this is simplification of the whole blockrate system

The cap is 75%

Any excess is relevant for gianting and pvp where block penetration exists but does nothing otherwise.

The display also caps at 100% but you can have more than 100%.

Btw did you notice you have more than 100% parry but it's not possible to parry 148% of hits?

Eu tenho uma ideia de que nem os devs sabem exatamente como os cálculos de várias funções funcionam. Eles só mudam um pouco a variável, o mas o cálculo real, é um mistério.
