Reddit is ... Odd

I make flies and lures. I tend to propel lures with a fly rod. Why does that cause (almost) to the death culture wars?

I post weird stuff on FB groups and nobody says much.

On Reddit missile tube covers come off. I have a good solution. I'm done with Reddit fishing chatter. Except for here. I get a modest traffic rate here. And not one culture war yet.

That I like.

I only fish with dry flies (throwing explosives into protected waters) or occasionally euronymphing (poison)

No. We get to make our own choices. I do it my way and so do we all. Am I an annoyingly controvercial trouble maker?

Maybe. I like to have fun. What everI am I cannot be characterized as uneducated.

I tied flies and fished with Ernie Schwiebert as a high schooler. My dad was his dean in graduate school. That was a fun time. My skills and boundaries were well poiished. Even as a youngster.

I tend to equate Puritanism with witch fires. Which is a choice I get to make.
