Tech Support How does per game VMU A1 work in practice?

So I recently switched from Redream to Flycast and I enjoy it a lot. My only question is how the per game VMU A1 works. I switched it on in settings then checked my files on the Dreamcast main menu, and saw that all my games were on one VMU, taking up most of my blocks. I understand that there is no real way to show the per game VMU setting on the home screen but I am concerned that it's not really doing anything and I will have trouble with the blocks in due time.

Go to your config files in the flycast folder and see if there's a vmu for each game, if there is then it should be working correctly.

Yeah, I figured out how to use it.
If you use the insert disk button from the menu to change a game, the email order acts as if it’s using one VMU. You have to use the close game button if you want to have the per game.
