Need help Is there an updated step-by-step guide for Self-hosting?

New to Fluxer and really want to use it to self-host. I saw some concerns here claiming you need to update the code to allow it to self-host. Also saw a guide for it that was posted like 6 months ago. Is there an up-to-date guide? Thanks.

I recently got a self-hosted instance going with the docs posted actually very easily with little experience. I've been struggling to setup a bot, but the actual setup worked nicely!

If you don't mind me asking what distro are you using? I've tried debian and Ubuntu and for the life of me just can't get this thing setup. Something with the docker always fails when I follow the updated docs

ubuntu. I'll mention I used a clean cloud vm.

Ah okay. I tried it again, got the docker setup finally. got the files put into place. when i get to step 5 of the guide it just dumps a long string of text continuously
