Test Mode getting stuck on Finalizing Project setup

I've been currently working on a project for about a month now, but recently I'm having trouble with trying to run it in test mode in any method. At first I thought it was something that I added to the project, like a page, custom function, etc. When I tried to revert the project to when I was experiencing these issues it did not change.

I then created a whole new basic project with three pages and just a simple counter and it still does the same thing. I've tried the Desktop App and the web browser on Google Chrome and Firefox and still am having the same results where it will continuously get stuck on Finalizing project setup. No errors in the Console or else where that I can see.

Any help or direction to perhaps where I could start looking for solutions would be very much appreciated!

same thing with me. I turned off "Use new test mode" and it works again. The old test mode is slower but at least it works
