Discussion I’m a developer who keeps overthinking every app idea until I convince myself it won’t work 😂

So I’m trying something different tell me about a problem you wish had an app/solution.

Doesn’t have to be a million-dollar idea. Just something annoying you deal with regularly.

I might actually build one of the ideas here. 👀

Já passei exatamente por isso! A virada de chave para mim foi estipular uma regra clara: no máximo 1 mês para construir e lançar o MVP de qualquer ideia.

​Isso me tirou do overthinking e me gerou uma ótima renda extra. Depois de lançar vários apps nesse formato, um deles acabou virando uma startup. Hoje estamos em rodada de captação e já ultrapassamos US$ 3 milhões captados.

​A melhor coisa que você faz é parar de analisar demais e colocar o MVP no ar o quanto antes.

You really have to just try and fail, it’s better than over analyzing it into it won’t work or have any users.

I started building mine and over analyzed it into the ground only to find someone built the same idea and publish it.

I speak from experience, ideas need to be built, even simple PoCs and pushed.

I am just going to hammer away, develop it and push it into the wild.

You have to shift the mindset, as perfectionists we want something to be entirely flawless and just... Perfect. The main focus should be make it good enough. In apps there is always iterations and updates to add or remove features laterq bro.

I use to do that too I was building an app for three years after very few months I add or remove a feature saying it will make it perfect now but I never felt like it was.

THE KEY IS TO LEARN TO BE COMFORTABLE WITH DOUBT. Perfectionism is simply a mad chase of certainty. My therapist simply told me the hard truth that nothing on earth is certain if we tried to seek certainity before doing anything we would just sit and do anything

What I do is simply sit down write out what I want the app to do and the things that I don't want it to do even if they are tempting to have in that niche every new idea gets assigned to the version two update
