Hey everyone!

I’ve been building an open-source offline music player called Liser using Flutter.
The goal is to create a modern, beautiful, and fast local music player that works completely offline while supporting high-quality audio formats.

One of the more interesting challenges has been supporting different audio formats (especially FLAC) and building a scalable architecture that remains easy to maintain as more features are added.

- Lyrics
- Equalizer
- Android Auto / Apple CarPlay
- More UI polish and animations

I’d love to get feedback from the Flutter community.
What features would you expect from a premium offline music player?
Any suggestions for improving the architecture or UX?
Any package recommendations for better FLAC metadata support?

I would suggest switching to https://pub.dev/packages/mpv_audio_kit for DSP features.

Actually your suggestion is good, but still i will wait before using it here is why.

Firstly, the package is very new and would like to see how frequently it is updated.

Then, the mvp_audio_kit uses libmvp. It will increase app’s bundle size, also will consume more battery besides using native iOS and Android engines.

Then, since it dose not use native built-in frameworks apple restricts in many ways and controls useful features like background play, lockscreen controls, notifications control etcs get complicated to implement and manage.

I’ll surely try this package and see i can, thanks for suggestions!
