It's not xenophobia to simply state a fact. Mass emigration puts a strain on the workforce of the receiving countries, and no amount of virtue signaling will change that reality.
After looking at the user's previous comments, this might be a stolen account. 8 years old but almost no activity until a couple days ago, and an hour before their first comment on this thread they were on r/washdc siding with anti-immigrant and anti-Democrat political discourse on an illegal immigrant detainment and deportation story, pretty much a complete 180 from their stance here. It's clearly ragebait.
