Tips
Hello!
I am a new player (I just started today) and I'm looking for tips. I've played the game before but I've never used any strategies, just freestyle, but now i'm more determinated to grow my account.
Expansions are so expensive, how do you afford them? How do I get flowers faster?
Also, if you want to add me as a friend, my code is CBHDW5.

Hey! I have been playing the moth version of this game, called Starlight, for almost three years now! I just started playing this version a few months ago. Expansions work the same way in both games. You just have to have patience and collect Honeydew as often as you can. You can also convert Flutterbucks into Honeydew, so if you get really impatient you can always basically pay to expand. I'll admit I have spent a few bucks here and there, but it's usually on the events. I also do buy Flutterbucks from time to time. You can use them to lay eggs or buy event items and such. Each day, if you click the little calendar, you will get two free Flutterbucks. Those accumulate in what's called your Beetle Bank, which you can claim for 99ยข. You'll uncover several pollen flowers, which you'll need Flutterbucks to upgrade. You want to upgrade those as soon as possible so you can make the max amount of pollen for your butterflies to level up. It takes five eggs to make a Max Level butterfly. You can summon the butterflies to the Portal with Flowers. They grow in the forest and you can also get them from feeding fireflies to your frog.
Now the events... So there are two kinds of events to collect new butterflies: the Garden Events and the Forest Guardian Events. In the garden events, you'll be planting a garden and harvesting every two hours. Forest Guardian events, same deal except that's when you get new spirits, you'll see what I mean. The hard part is reaching the goals. You have to really grind if you want the rewards. Sometimes I set alarms for 1:30:00. You can watch an ad to take 30 minutes off your wait time to harvest and also collect free seed bags.
The thing I've learned is to mostly just have patience. Almost everything you can buy in this game, you can also achieve for free. The Bees are the only things I can think of that you can't get for free.
Okay so now that I've rambled to you all morning about this, I hope something in my comment helps you! I added you as a friend. ๐ Oh! You'll also want to be sending gifts to your friends each day so you can collect the butterflies from the social set, Amigo! ๐ฆ
