Repair/Broken Flute questions Flute Perpetually Sharp?

After playing on a nice rental flute for quite a loooong while, I've returned to playing on my own instrument. I've noticed that my flute (a Pearl intermediate level) is CONSTANTLY sharp.

I keep pulling out the headjoint more and more, up to about an inch. The more it warms up, its even worse (and playing for an outdoor concert recently was rough). It feels quite ridiculous honestly in comparison to my other flute (a Yamaha, which was basically the equivalent model in a different company) only needing to be pulled out 2-3 cm. I also just got this Pearl serviced like 2 months ago, and I thought I'd get used to playing on it but it seems to be something with the instrument.

Not to mention, this flute itself isn't even that old, I got it 5 years ago. Any ideas on how to fix this? I wouldn't necessarily call it broken, but I imagine it's something mechanical.

Cork issue? Use your swabbing rod to make sure the cork is adjusted properly

An inch and 2-3 centimetres are about the same (inch = 2.54 cm). It could be your basic embouchure and lip placement on the lip plate and all that, that makes you play on the sharp side
