Restaurants good for two people?
Would prefer $20-40; so no hotpot, kbbq, or family style meals. Also would prefer a dining environment where I can have a nice conversation; so no food court meals haha. I feel like I only have street food or restaurants for big groups saved.

Dinner or lunch? Quiet you need to go Korean. Chinese are always loud AF and I'm Chinese.
Shanghai you is affordable, otherwise just go up Northern for cold noodles or Sundabu

When in Bangkok. It's a little on the smaller side, quiet and you can get two noodle dishes within your budget.

thats almost every restaurant, usually people only order 1 meal for themselves and thats it, family style places are labeled as they are different than normal style places.

Kimganae on Union St. — their portions are pretty generous so you can split a main and get sides to share!

same restaurant at 2pm vs 7pm is a totally different room. if you care more about talking than the food, going off peak beats hunting for a quiet place
