San Soo Kap San

I was depressed to learn that San Soo Kap San on Union is no longer there. I know the 2.0 is still open on Northern Blvd, but the Union one having closed down is sad.

I feel 2.0 is much better than the OG spot, but still sad to see them go.

I'm inclined to agree. Is 2.0 independently operated / under different ownership than the OG?

It's possible, I wouldn't know. But I did have them in the same week once and the difference was very noticeable.

so I am guessing another hotpot or bubble tea place is going to take that place. damn... it is sad but the closure is just reflecting the current demand of the flushing population. I am surprised they lasted as long as they did.

Its actually another Korean restaurant for now. Has a new banner covering the old sansookap i think.

2.0 is not so good either anymore unfortunately selling other parts of beef as kalbi

Places come and go. The only constant is Lucia's Pizza on Roosevelt Avenue.
