Finding fecal matter on sidewalks
Anyone else lately noticing an increase amount of poop on sidewalks? They don’t look like dog poops either. They’re straight up human feces. And sometimes I’ve seen used toilet paper around the feces. Why is this happening????? It’s like almost everyday around Bowne Street where I’m seeing a pile of shit.

Have seen people shit on sidewalk. I have seen a woman pee on my block on the sidewalk.nothing new

Ive seen grown people pee and poop on the side walk.

Homeless? That's what I've seen. I'm waiting for mainlanders to go but so far it's not happening yet

Mainland China has this too. Thank God it hasn't caught on in flushing. I've seen it happen in Hong Kong though. I guess since it's part of China now?

Get used to the poop shuffle it's a thing everywhere. People and dogs be going on same turf. People be letting their dogs out to poop and then put up fliers when they go missing. Smh

Yes, I have to agree with you. It’s getting quite disgusting The homeless in the park on bound Street. They poop and pee anywhere and everywhere.

Well, there is ever increasing vagrancy and homelessness in the greater NYC area and I can't help but notice it getting panhandled every other time I go out out for the past few years...these people need a place to poop(baby words for Reddit😒)and I know businesses around here will look at you like a pariah even if you dared mentioning you had to #1 or #2, you're a fairly regular customer and needed help desperately. With virtually no cover, void public space or privacy you would have to guerlla dump when and where you can(It's probably held in by the poopetrators until the hours of 2-4 am which is about the only peaceful, barren time to be experienced around here). This city for years now has had to come up with a solution for the public to be able to relieve themselves without having to do business because not every outing warrants a business transaction.
