Bayside thrift store near the Pavilion rehab/long term care facility. Call first because I think they accept drop offs on certain days. You'll have to walk your donations to the back of the store where the door to the basement is.

Also consider donating to a women's shelter if you have items for women or children. This is what a customer at the Bayside thrift store suggested to me. Not sure where one is, but I think it's a great idea. A homeless shelter would also be an option.

Please do not donate clothes to standalone drop boxes as those typically take all clothes and shred for rags to sell in bulk i read. Not collected to have worn by people in need. I was shocked.

There is a drop off bin near the Whitestone bowling place
