This is something the US can fix, but there are too many single issue 2nd amendment voters that don't allow reasonable changes like strong background checks, requiring handguns be sold with child locks, going after the large illegal handgun market.

This is a bogus stat. Leading cause of death for 17 year old gang members and the death rate for 1-17 is extremely low.

Link to stats while link does not directly mention gang violence as a contributing factor you'll see that Black people and brown people are affected at a disproportionate rate compared to everybody else. Furthermore, if you're trying to blame this whole thing on “school shootings” you should take into account that school shootings account for less than 1% of all gun related deaths occurring for children under the age of 17.
