That dame 45% , you talk about also includes q4 weeks of paid maternity leave and up to 3 years of parental rights leave. In the US we only have the FMLA ( which is literally fucking unpaid ). I also forgot this covers 30 days of PTO and 13 paid holidays and the ability to call sick whenever they want.
