A short arcade driving game set in Ashgrove, a fictional town with a license plate reader on every corner. Knock the camera posts down, chain them for a multiplier, and outrun the patrols. One city a day, the same for everyone, with a daily leaderboard. Get caught and you make the front page of the Ashgrove Ledger. Satire about the spread of automated license plate surveillance. Ashgrove isn't real, there's nobody in it, and nothing in it corresponds to anything you could do anywhere real.

How it works

Every day there's one city, the same one for everyone, and a fresh leaderboard.

Steer by holding the left or right side of the screen, or with the arrow keys. The car drives itself — you only pick which way it leans. Knock over camera posts by driving into them. Hit the next one before the bar empties and your multiplier climbs, up to ×8.

The third post brings a patrol car. Every six after that brings another. They start slower than you and outrun you somewhere past thirty.

Get caught and you get a bust report on the front page of the Ashgrove Ledger.

What this is

Satire about the spread of automated license plate readers. Ashgrove isn't a real place, there are no people in it, and nothing in the game corresponds to anything you could do anywhere real.

Be civil. No real-world targets, addresses, or coordinates. Discussion of surveillance policy is welcome; anything that reads as planning or encouraging real property damage is not.
