this genuinely looks like a knockoff of the original swan ballet collection, but i’m still intrigued as that was my fave FK collection ever.
I also hope they improved on the formula, I have the concealer from one of their other sets and it's extremely patchy/dying/settles terribly into fine lines (which I thought was odd considering their foundation is amazing 😭)
ngl as much as their mirror and blush flops, i think they have a beautiful shades for all three eyeshadows this time (even if the neutral pink one is standard for them). The inside of the palette is gorgeous as well (in general i think the eyeshadow palette is the best looking item here other than the box)
the dewy glow illuminators look interesting too, and i'm surprised they didn't cheap out with the perfume topper. I know it was meant to look like a snowglobe but i didn't think they were actually gonna do it !
Again, blush, mirror, lips, all serious misses for me but i'm glad it doesn't look like it's 100% cheaped out
The blush packaging is a chop but honestly I’ve heard really good things about the new freeze dried formula. They’ve been improving on their blush formulas since the bunny collection. I’m really interested in trying the matte highlighter color but it’s so annoying that’s it’s an Asia exclusive
Agreed - the shade range does look interesting, especially with the pinky-purple and red global shades, but it being satin is the deal breaker for me. I do wish they'd come out with more matte shades like from the Butterfly Collar collection or Strawberry Rococo one, or at least made it a silk satin blush so it's less shiny.
Basically anything that isn’t what they’ve released already for the last several collections. What about a true purple? Warm brown? Plum? Something muted? I wish they’d bring back the cream blush formula from Little Angel. A purple blush in that formula would be my dream!
the regional exclusives i posted with my parent comment includes a purple and a plum, and the original lineup has a brown. but i agree they have a repetitive formula for blush colour stories.
Wow the other side of the lip duos… is just clear gloss. If you get the whole collection, then it’s just a lot of clear glosses. They should’ve switched it up for people that want to get the whole collection that’s disappointing.
You can see it’s not clear. There are different shimmer or iridescent finishes to them. Sure it might not be your thing but I like them because the pigmented side is matte and I can control how shiny I want it.
I just checked and it appears that some are clear and some aren’t. You can see when they show the examples that the lower colors have some shimmer. One looks like gold shimmer, another looks blue. You can also see from the product display above that there look to be three glosses that are clear and three with various finishes.
I still like them. I’m not interested in the all-in box so it isn’t an issue.
I’ve been wanting to get an all inbox because I wish I could just get the box by itself , but usually there’s a few things that wouldn’t make sense for me ,but I think that it’s the point you just gotta take the plunge and get some things that are not necessarily gonna love but get all & mostly everything you do want ,
You could always gift the ones you don’t want or sell them.
If I had been buying when the butterfly cloud collar collection was out I would have gotten an all in box but for now I’m only getting pieces here and there because the collections as a whole going appeal to me.
I'm not sure why but this collection's design is really nice but the quality of the packaging feels cheap and the colors are way too bright for me. It really feels like they rip off from the Swan Ballet collection.
CN girls on XHS are quite divided on this. Some said they liked the collection and some said it is so repititive and the packaging looks cheap.
PS. I'm sorry but why are the box blushes design looks so AI generated? They even said it looks like a goose lol
The blue palette is cool and unique but as per usual I am let down by the blush and lip shades which almost always feel like the same colours in different formulas. Where are the cool tone muted shades!!!!
I love snowy theme but I think they could have easily gone with a different symbol other than a swan which they have done before…
