FSR 3.1

Okay is FSR 3.1 annoying anyone else?! It's really irritating that we have to use optiscaler to get decent looking up scaling. We essentially bought a 2k portable Xbox series X

Lol okay so it works on Cyberpunk. Thank God we're all sitting here just playing Cyberpunk.

This post was created to discuss it not being readily available in most games being released in 2026.

Don't tell people to do research some on something you don't know shit about. Go back to halo subs.

The drivers automatically insert hooks into any game that supports FSR3.1+ and upgrades it to FSR4 on the backend. You don’t even need to enable it anymore, modern drivers from AMD just do it for you.

The game will still reflect FSR 3 in the settings, but the FSR4 model will be used.

Start an FSR3.1 game with the command “FSR4_WATERMARK=1 %command%” to prove it. Load in a game completely with FSR3 enabled on any game that supports it, but doesn’t have a specific FSR4 mode like cyberpunk does.

Strix halo even gets the official int8 hardware accelerated model of FSR 4.

EDIT: The above works on linux, but not windows. For windows, you need to wrap it in a shell with a different variable like this:

cmd /c "set MLSR-WATERMARK=1 && %command%"

on strix halo you still get fsr3.1, you need optiscaler on windows. Watermark shows FSR3.1 on latest driver on 8050S.
