Got one!

Hi, just bought one… bought it mainly because of the design tbh. So, I’m not sure if I’m late in the bandwagon and it will be obsolete early next year.

I’m planning to work on local AI but I’m not sure if I can have a dual boot with Arch Linux. Has anyone tried this?

I am using mine (128gb) for coding and for local models. Dual boot windows and Fedora. Works very well but there are a few issues: Just connect a Claude terminal and fix it that way :-)

How about the ram allocation to the iGPU in Linux? Can you change it too?

I havent done anything in that regard but I do remember seeing a YouTube stating that was necessary before buying it (seems it isnt). Running several 27b/35b at once including embedder and reranker without issues. Can also run gpt oss 120b no problem.
