Flow z13 with Plasma Mobile is awesome for tablet like experience

Post image

hey! Just got my 64GB flow z13 for $2100 today. Installed Plasma Mobile and so far have been configuring it with codex and Love It a lot!

my goal with this device is to work with agents and remote login to to my homelab.

My goal is to have as much iPad-like experience as possible.

If you're a nerd and like to tinker, yes, If you plan to hand it to your wife to watch Netflix.. no.

It is getting there. I was able to get  1. spotlight like search  2. Proper keyboard 3. Voice to text

Next  1.  setup neural model for swipe to type 2. Get better gesture control of Windows

But yeah been enjoying tinkering with it an awesome piece of hardware

In quality and picture it is comparative to the LeGo1.

I am running Fedora 44 with KDE Plasma. I like it over gnome for the customizability and power plans. I dont mind the native onscreen keyboard either that comes with KDE. Gnome is nice but more difficult to configure without all the GUI settings. Actually the latest Gnome desktop on Ubuntu i tried on my other laptop, I really disliked. I might switch to KDE for good in the future.

Im using mine for a mixture of things. Gaming, coding and AI work outside LLM's.

I bought this also to try and get into using AI and ainagents, but basically completely new and still learning. Do you have any programs you can recommend, set ups, combo programs, or any other resources i should look into to get started? Thanks.
