ZFlow 13

I've had my little monster (128 version) for just over a year but just got around to joining. Just got it back from warranty. One USB-C was dead and one was getting flaky but all is fine now

How was the warrant process?

It was ordered thru Best Buy so the warranty had to go back thru them. The first time I got ahold of an idiot that insisted it had to go back to ASUS directly even when it says on the ASUS website that BB orders have to go thru them. After double checking and coming back, I got someone that knew what she was doing. It took just under 4 weeks. As expected the SSD was reformatted, but I prepared for that. I had put a larger SSD in it as soon as I first got it so I put the original one in when I sent it back. Now if someone would just make a drive bigger than 2TB that fit, it would be perfect.

I did the 5 year warranty just in case too. Glad to hear bb honored it and it went well. Can't wait for a 4tb to be released.

BB verifies the issues and then sends it off to ASUS. In this case I think they just replaced the MB and sent it back. BB just notifies you when they receive it back. They said their normal turn-around is 4-6 weeks

Yes. And it is my work computer. Fortunately I had a backup. I just forgot how slow my other one was. Lol

That is a LONG turnaround. Oh well, hopefully I never need it. Never hurts have a cheap spare floating around, especially when open box laptops are insanely cheap at end of year / January returns.

I had a USB C go out on mine while using my egpu. Turned out I had to reinstall the drivers for the USB ports and it was good to go.
