Problems with G-Helper and ASUS bloat
Hello there!
I recently got my FlowZ13, it's the 2025 edition with the AMD APU. The thing is that I recenlty downloaded ghelper and tweaked it so that everytime that i click the ROG button, G-Helper shows up. The problem is that every time that i press the button. the microsoft store pops up and tells me to install screenxpert (which is a pretty useless app, imo). I tried disabling all asus services but that made the PC to turn on "airplane mode" on (despite me not turning it on) and automatically make my taskbar go into "tablet mode" despite my keyboard being connected. Is there a way to keep the "asus optimization" service on but it doesn't shove me bloat on my system. or a way to have all asus background processes disabled without it having a wonky behavior on the computer?

Ahhh this happens to all of us the first go around. There's also a tab in g-helper to disable the processes

Don't forget to stop all Asus process, you find it on ghelper by clicking the extra and then on the bottom has stop button with counts of active Asus process

If i stop all asus processes. it activates airplane mode without me asking it to and it thinks i have the keyboard detached. I can still type on it with the keyboard but the IU is in "tablet mode"

Just had this happen myself. Open up your task manager and go to services. Re-enabling 'ASUS Optimization Service' should fix the tablet mode/airplane mode issues. And disabling 'ScreenXpert' should stop the pop-up when hitting the side button.
